60 MW Solar Plant, Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh

  • Capacity: 60 MW (ground-mounted)
  • Scope: Piling, civil works, module mounting, DC & AC works, HT yard prep, earthing and protection.
  • Site Area: ~250 acres
  • Contract Type: Subcontract (Civil & DC)
  • Contract Value: (Insert value; confidential)
  • Schedule: 9 months from mobilisation to commissioning

Technical & Execution Detail:

  • Geotech: High groundwater presence required raised foundations and perimeter drainage. A modified pile design was used with anti-floatation measures.
  • Civil Works: 12,000 piles driven, 25 control rooms & switchroom foundations, 10 km of WBM roads, drainage channels
  • Electrical Works: Stringing of 1500 strings, combiner box erection, inverter station installation and 33kV collector lines.
  • QA/QC: Implemented material tagging, 100% sample testing for critical items (bolts, concrete tests) and daily QA logs.

Outcomes & KPIs:

  • Commissioned 25 days ahead of contractual schedule due to phased mobilisation and 24×7 shift rotations during solar mounting phase.
  • PR achieved in first 6 months: 82.5% (exceeded 80% target).
  • Lessons Learned: Early geotech planning and contractor incentives led to schedule acceleration without compromising safety.

146 MW Tichpali, Telangana

  • Capacity: 146 MW across multiple blocks
  • Scope: Comprehensive civil & DC integration, site grading, multi-block coordination.
  • Key Challenge: Multi-block logistics and synchronized stringing to achieve simultaneous commissioning.

Execution & Innovation:

  • Implemented modular tracker alignment and standardisation across blocks so tooling changeover time reduced by 30%.
  • Centralised logistics hub with just-in-time deliveries optimised site space utilization.
  • Engaged drone surveys weekly to monitor progress and validate installation accuracy

Outcomes & KPIs:

  • Zero major incidents, PR > 81% in initial quarters.

  • Scope: Tracker installation (SAT) and MCR & road works.
